Find a Grave App Reviews

What would be really cool is if Im driving down the road and the app alerts me that Im passing by a cemetery and grave of significance so I can stop and take a look. Otherwise its a great app and I enjoy using it.

I love this app, I found family members that I had searched for for years in a few clicks. Love everything about the app!

I particularly appreciate being able to narrow a search to a specific Canadian province and "county", something which currently cannot be done at the website.

It was a great tool to use with ancestry. But it keeps crashing.

An amazing tool for working on family history

Absolutely amazing easy to use and makes finding Cemeterys much easier.

Easy to use App - great for finding graveyards &/or listings. Easy to add entries as well.

Will continue to get even more useful as more entries are added.

I prefer the app but do like the website too! (1) One thing I would love to see (or find out how to do if it has already been added in an update) is the ability to add specific cemeteries to a "favorites list" so I can easily access them without needing to search each time I want to add pictures or search for my own ancestors. (2) Also, to receive alerts of open photo requests for cemeteries near me (maybe with the ability to set a distance such as within 25 miles).

Since I updated this app to the version released yesterday, many of my photos are being automatically rotated during upload. So they display sideways. Then when I try to correct using the apps rotate tool, half of the photo appears greyed out. Help!

Update-- they fixed this issue-APP ONLY UPLOADS HORRIBLE QUALITY LOW RES PHOTOS. Only to create a new one. Now photos are always sideways- I take my pictures correctly. I know this is not user error. If you need a beta tester Id be more than happy! Transcribe feature looks good.

Great app for searching and organizing your beloveds gravesites. Amazing.

I have only been interested in genealogy for a few years. Find A Grave helped spark that interest!

Love being able to check out graveyards when on trips here and there. Able to see immediately who needs a headstone photo. Also sometimes able to read about the people buried under interesting headstones.

This app does not contain grave markers or locations . But they did steal my personal information buyer beware do not download.

Theres no problem with the app freezing up or anything. I much prefer to use the website. The app is not very complete as far as usability, and an app specific for iPad is very much needed for better use in the field.
