This is my favorite app, thanks. This is my favorite app because I enjoy finding graves for their loved ones. And the best nickname for Find a Grave is “Find a gravy”.

The memorial hogs ruin what would be an almost perfect site.
This is a good way to volunteer your free time, to something rewarding and helpful for families researching their past.
Can’t find the cemetery let alone a specific grave. Not intuitive at all. Use another app.
Selfish managers have ruined the site. Support does nothing to help! Managers of memorials are allowed to keep memorials rather than pass management to relatives of the dead. It is very sad.
Have always loved this site and it has helped me find friends and relatives through the years. I hope they will always be there.
One of the best web sites on the Internet. Easy to use. Become a volunteer and receive much gratification and blessings.
I looked for my father’s gravesite. The grave information was correct but a different mother and half siblings instead of siblings were listed. I know from 3 different ancestry dna sites that this is incorrect. I don’t know the source of this information but I could find no way to get it corrected. Updated: the information was fixed quickly after I was provided with information about who to contact. Still don’t know how it happened.
Add GPS coordinates in the app to to create new cemeteries

Excellent platform!
Without this wonderful platform I would have never been able to visit the graves of my ancestors or some beloved family members. I am grateful for member Mary Ann Loss posting my beloved wife Beverly Black Richardsons grave a few years ago. We were separated and I unable to attend her funeral so helped my grieving. God Bless You Mary Ann.
Larry has me as a sibling but not on grave information. Why not
Find A Grave is very easy to use especially with new inputs and updates. Thanks
I’ve been trying to fine my great grandmothers grave for the past few years but every time I went, I couldn’t find her :( I saw this app on TikTok and i was finally able to find her so thank u :)
Very helpful and works well
I love the website as it has helped me in my research, but I came across this app recently and unfortunately it wasn't helpful. Profiled that I know exist on the online website for my family dont even show up here on the app. And the app doesn't even let me switch cemeteries to search a grave. It there some sort of bug on the app?
Needs a few more fields on sorting... Home towns or Home Counties Killed while in the military during a specific war.
I’ve been using Find a Grave for over 14 years. It’s truly one of the best especially an app form.
I love this site as a memorial I can see my loved one at. I would love if I could leave noted to heaven for them as well as make an album of memories or my new adventures to share between us. Maybe 50 photos and 1000 txt notes. This seems like the perfect place for it. Any thoughts? Christine
Most of the volunteers are truly trying to make this site the best it can be. I have only had one person be rude to me so bless her heart. The bad is most definitely outweighed by the good. I have had numerous thank yous sent to me for adding their relatives. I would not have ever found this site years ago if someone had not put my dad on it. I do think there should be guidelines though. New members should not go in and ask for everyone they know to be transferred to them when they have done nothing to contribute. A one year period where you actually volunteer for the site would be nice before you can request a transfer. I personally do not like death certificates added to memorials either. And while I am stating my opinion, the bio section should be used for what it says it is not for copies and pastes of census records.
Love the app , just wish there was more mobility in the mobile app. With moving back and forth from one page to another. Instead of having to go to top to press arrow. Other than that app is wonderful!!!
Find a Grave is a great site to remember people who came before us. I personally think Find a Grave is a ton better than “BillionGraves” because BillionGraves’ website is really janky and it is not as easy to search you ancestors, but mostly you have to pay money to even look at the pictures. Find a Grave however has an easy to use website and app and it is absolutely free.
I tried several times a year or so ago to sign in. Trying again today. When I click on sign in nothing happens. HELP!!!
This is stupid. You should have data. It is very obvious. Ignorance. Scam.
I don’t understand why I can’t upload my own photos on my grandfather and grandmother‘s memorial sites. When the cemeteries don’t work with my family to make sure that the date of death is on their grave. McClain
I love to visit Cemeteries, especially where my parents are located in East Texas in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hwy 323, New London, Texas. The Thompson/Barber Families are apart of the Families who were affected by the New London School natural gas Explosion in 1937. (There is a Tribute Online.) Hwy 42 exit off I-20 is the Route I drive whether traveling to or from Dallas, Texas.
Thank you for remembering Ester with a headstone. We lived next door to her when I was a kid in San Mateo, many fond memories of her with her chiauau sugar. She moved after her her husband was unfaithful and went to be with the new girlfriend, broke poor Ester’s heart. XOXOXOThe Whitmore’s
There are people who have walked this earth and have passed with no grave stone or cremated remains in a specific location. Will there be an opportunity to list these people with loved ones with their family on this application? I have two examples; one is an indigenous person buried on sacred land not marked for individuals but for community. Another is a person who wished his ashes be scattered in a park that he loved, again no marker, no registry and most likely against the law but your app would show the connection to the past with us in the present.
Simple information entry. Easy to add pictures. Straight forward controls to rotate and crop photos. Would like better messaging to requests when the request can’t be fulfilled, such as when there is no tombstone to photograph.
I’ve been using this a lot for years to find people I know and read through obituaries and photos. It’s a huge cemetery online. Amazing idea.
Why do you not have a share symbol on each page as well as the home page of a member?
I like the app overall. Sometimes it can be a bit clunky with the search. It will say a grave isn’t in the cemetery then when I go to add it then it will pop up with a duplicate even though I just searched and there was none. Other than that. It’s very easy to use, I find it quicker than using in safari. But please developers, let me add flowers to memorials on the app! It’s annoying going to a browser to do so. Thnx for all you do.
The app is overall pretty good and very useful for on the go and for quick searches and easy to just pull up and look at stuff however I do think there need to be some features that the website has for example being able to directly message not only other members but memorial holders and others I would also love to see being able to add flowers on the app and so much more. I would love to see these features added to the app that would make it a five star but overall it is very great for starting out in genealogy, especially with your resources being limited.
Possibly not enterred in Woodlawn Cemetery, bronx, ny
Great app. Tons of information.
Pinedale Cementary Clanton,Al He was born 10-15-1888 Wife Maggie Keith Headley My father was one of their children Marvin Francis Headley Born September 8, 1922 Died May 21,1989 Buried at Forest Hill South Memphis,TN He was not listed with his siblings
Find a Grave kicked me out of the game because LOL it’s only about pictures of funerals not real life photos LOL 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
The hints are not loading on the app. The web page seems to be ok, This has happened before. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, emptied history and cookies…and so on. Also the “potential ancestor” boxes are not loading either. I updated just before this all stated again. I’m not too happy with all the nonsense on the home page either. Too many gimicks now. Seems to me like you guys would want the app to work instead of putting all kinds of new things on the app which do not work properly either. This was a much better app when you guys kept it simple. 😔
I have found so many new living relatives through find a grave. The community is wonderful and so helpful. Like the mother in Lebanon, CT who ran to Trumbull cemetery to find my families graves before my trip there. I have tried to do as many photo request to help others too.
I have used the web version for over 20 yrs. Sadly the bullying by other users, and non grave info, is getting out of hand in places. For bullying or attacks, these should have a way to report the event, from the message or bio, DIRECTLY. Currently you must email support, which is where everything goes. It’s lumped and gets no immediate attention (it should). Transfer requests, should specify more about 2 family members wanting to manage the same memorial. It should give preference to direct ancestors, within 4 generations, over half cousins and those not descendants. There should be a transfer request button that retains the request notes, instead of doing everything by email. Otherwise FG seems robust in the app, but deeper things must be done on the web - FG has resolved this with a quick link at the bottom of the memorial, which is very nice.
App makes it very easy to fulfill photo requests quickly or look up info on the road. Please add capability to see messages sent to me
Can’t thank you enough for this app
Supposed to be find a grave and doesn’t even ask for the name of person we want to find.
I really wanted to take photos for Find a Grave. I use it all the time on Family Search. I’ve been doing many thousands of photos for BillionGraves, but they have doing their transcribing which of mess things up. I would like to do something for Find a Grave but I couldn’t figure out how to take the pictures. Sandra
Been trying for days to open on my iPad. Continuously get server error message. Useless app.
SERVER ERROR, SERVER ERRROR, SERVER ERROR… PAIN IN THE BUTT, PAIN IN THE BUTT, PAIN IN THE BUTT, but I kept trying and then deleted it FOREVER. Continual crashing, can’t get into or anywhere in the app because it freezes. Rebooted my iPhone… that didn’t help. Uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it THAT DIDN’T HELP either. The rebooted my iPhone while naming the 50 states in reverse alphabetical order AND EVEN THAT DIDN’T WORK.
I am apart of Find a grave, the app is very nice! But could use some updating style wise. Overall great!
Recently trying to view ‘my virtual cemeteries’ app loops back to login screen. App and iOS are current. I’ve emailed support and supplied requested screenshots and have since not had any response (week). Web version has no issue.
